Community-Led Neonatal Resuscitation: A Collaborative Intensive
For Midwives, Nurses, Birth Assistants, and EMS Professionals
This 8-hour course redefines neonatal resuscitation for the community setting, treating out-of-hospital providers and EMS medics as equal partners in the continuum of care. We move beyond the basics to master "resuscitation in place," seamless transfers, and trauma-informed care for both families and providers. By focusing on team dynamics and clinical integration, we ensure that when the first breath needs support, the entire team—from midwife to medic—acts as one.
Core Topics Include:
Co regulation and co care of the maternal/infant dyad
Provider regulation, self care, and awareness
Ventilation with a BVM and T-Piece Resuscitator
Use of the Laryngeal Mask Airway
UVC/i/o/Medication Administration
Integrating transfers with EMS and receiving hospitals
Clinical Mastery: Earn your NRP eCard (requires prerequisite online work and additional $75 to AAP/NRP to complete Part 1).
Community Integration: Focus on resuscitation in place and highly realistic EMS transfer simulations.
Holistic Support: Dedicated modules on team dynamics and trauma-informed debriefing.

Standard Rate: $300 per learner

No refunds are offered for individual cancellations. However, with advanced notice, you may:
Apply your fee as a credit toward a Midwives Untethered virtual service (consult, drill, or training).
Convert your fee into a deposit for a future course (must be scheduled within 12 months).
Exceptions for emergencies may be made by contacting the instructor prior to the course.
